Youth Empowerment & Psychotherapy Aid Organization (YEPAO) is a non-governmental and non-profit making organization that was established in May 2019 and registered under the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children. Its registration No. is 00NGO/R/00010176.
A Psychological associated problems in Tanzania and in the world has becoming a global problem. YEPAO believes that if adequate psychological services will be provided the community of Tanzania will be stable hence sustainable development.
YEPAO started as result of schools programs and sober house counseling programs under Elimisha initiative as a pilot study program in 2016 Tanzania mainland where it was discovered that there is the need of psychological services. Through three years program in youth empowerment, drugs abuse prevention and counseling programs. YEPAO develops and provides innovative and relevant programs with resources and services based on current research and better practices aimed at children, youth, parents, teachers and drugs addicts as well.
